Jefferson Community College - Outer Coffeen Street, Watertown,
NY - Programs are open to the general public year-round at

The Little Theater of Watertown, Inc. - One of the oldest
theater groups in the state. Members perform several plays
and dinner theater shows as well as one act plays for charity.

Cornwall Brothers Store Heritage Arts Center, Market Street,

This restoration of the turn-of-the-century general store
is the community center for heritage education and special
events, featuring historic exhibits

Cup and Saucer, Real Street, Cape Vincent, NY
This landmark was the site of refuge for Napoleon Bonaparte
Madison Barracks, Sackets Harbor
Built at the close of the War 1812, these barracks were operated
by the Army until after World War II, where they utilized
them as a troop training camp. Visit Fort Pike, the Stone
Row, Water tower and Sally Port
Military Cemetary, Sackets Harbor, NY
The remains of Zebulon Pike, discoverer of Pike's Peak, lay
here, as well as other casualties of the War of 1812
Old Stone Bridge, Sackets Harbor, NY
President Monroe was greeted by Army and Naval Commanders
at this point in 1818
Oxbow Historic Homes, Oxbow, NY
This was home of Princess Caroline Charlotte Bonaparte Benton,
built in 1820 Daughter of Joseph Bonaparte, who was once King
of Spain
The Paddock Mansion, 228 Washington Street, Watertown, NY
The house, which was completed in 1878, was an avant garde
statement by John Hose, Watertwon architect, for his clients
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Paddock. It was than opened as a museum
in 1924
Pulpit Rock, Oxbow, NY
This was the early trading spot for the English and old time
loyalists during the War of 1812
Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library, 229 Washington Street,
Watertown, NY
The Library holds a collection of apprimately 180,000 volumes,
plus paintings

Sackets Harbor Battlefield,
Route 3, Sackets Harbor, NY (State Historic Site)
This battlefield was the site of two attacks on the U.S. during
War of 1812 and center of naval and military activity during
that war. It is now a visitor center with orientation show
and self-guided tours.
Dr. Samuel Guthrie House, Sackets Harbor, NY
Home of the discoverer of chloroform, first used in amputations
at Sackets Harbor - and developer of the percussion Cap.
Stone House, Broadway, Cape Vincent, NY
This house was built in the early 1800's by James Leray DeChaumont
Stone Row and Water Tower, Sackets Harbor
These outstanding structures help to give Madison Barracks
its unique flavor
Thousand Islands Museum, 403 Riverside Drive, Clayton, NY
The museum Features exhibits on the Muskie Hall of Fame, Idian
lore, old country kitchen, country school, and Indian lore
exhibits, among other things.
