You will really enjoy the Thousand Islands-Seaway region
if you are a fisherman. This area is known for its smallmouth
bass, which are the finest in the world. The area is filled
with the tiniest of Islands, to the larger ones, many of them
have a legend pertaining to it. Some of the more popular ones
include Heart Island, Devil's Oven, and Maple Island.
When you tire of fishing and the water, there are many other
sites to see. Visit the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center
on Wellesley Island, or tour the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton,
or go to Massena and spectate on how the boats are lifted
in the St. Lawrence Seaway. Whatever your pleasure, you can
be sure and find it at the Thousand Islands-Seaway.
