Sapsucker Woods Bird
Sanctuary, 159 Sapsucker Woods Road, Ithaca
The Sapsucker Woods Sanctuary is home to the world-famous
Cornell Lab of Ornithology. It has 4.2 miles of trails
winding through woodland and over swamps and ponds.,
along with a ten-acre pond, which is home to waterfowl
and other wildlife and a bird-feeding garden. Observatory
hours: Mon.-Thurs. 8 am - 5 pm, Fri. 8 am - 4 pm, Weekends
10 am - 4 pm. Trails always open.
