Local Events
The Hudson Valley is home to many mansions and historic sites.
One site, home of the famous Washington Irving, who wrote
the legendary fable "Legend of Sleepy Hollw", is
quite a captating view. Another home to visit would be the
Olana estate near Hudson. From inside you can view the grounds
and river below, from which lies a lovely, spacious garden
with a variety of flowers. And yet another site to see, Lyndhurst
is home to the Gothic stone mansion of Gilded-Era financier
Jay Gould.
The United States Military Academy at West Point offers breathtaking
views of the Husdon River. And the River itself has many delightful
towns and villages to offer to your vacation. The Hudson Valley
