Christ Church, 187 Washington Street, Binghamton, New

Oldest church in Binghamton. Many Presidents, Governors,
Senators and Congressmen worshiped in this center. City's
oldest stained glass window, and site of American Revolutionary
soldiers' burial.

Deposit Community Historical Society Museum, 145 Second
Street, Deposit, New York (Oquaga Lake nearby)
This restored bank building now houses a museum. Originally
Knapp Brothers Bank Building of Italian architecture with
original vault. The exhibits and artifacts are related
to the local history.
Open May through October, Thurs. and Sun. 2:00 pm to 4:00
pm, other times by appointment.

Discovery Center of the Southern Tier, 60 Morgan Road
Binghamton's unique children's museum, the Discovery Center
is great for the imagination. Children take a hands on
look approach to science, technology, crafts, and an old
fashioned diner.

Exterminator's Grave Gardner Road, Binghamton, New York
Greene Town and Village
19th and 20th century architectural style buildings. Main
Street includes National Register Rosekrans Bldg., one
of the surviving molded sheet-iron storefronts. There
is also golf and swimming to enjoy.

Built in 1900, has been restored and is now the center
for business, the arts and retail shopping.
Nanticoke Valley Historical Society Museum
Maine - Broome County's past is recreated at the Nanticoke
Valley Historical Society Museum. Destroyed by the fire
in 1870, the original Victorian structure has been restored,
and is now a vital center for learning. The museum is
located on Nanticoke Road in the Town of Maine. By appointment
only.

National Soaring Museum, Harris Hill, Elmira, New York
Over a dozen fully assembled historical gliders and sail
planes, with artifacts related to motorless flight in
building designed to show a number of crafts while in
flight.

by architect Isaac G. Perry in the dignified post-Civil
